Kettles Interclub: Milwaukee, Racine, Wauwatosa, KMCC
Calling all the ladies of Kettle Moraine, this is your chance to be part of the Kettles Interclub Series, first stop, Milwaukee on November 10th. This year's tour includes visits to Racine in December, Wauwatosa in February, and KMCC will host in March.
Ladies are encouraged to sign up for one or more of these events and KMCC needs two teams for each event. Curling will get underway at 9:30am at each location and lunch will be served following a 6-End Game. Sign ups are open now for all events in the series.
Miller Men's 1-Day Spiel December 20th, Kettle vs Wauwatosa
The "Miller Men's" is played in honor of a long time curler of both clubs, Bob Miller. This Men's event between Tosa and Kettle aims to encourage new curlers while competing for the traveling trophy. This year we're looking for 16 curlers to participate.
When: December 20th, 1st draw at 9am, 2nd at 1:30pm
Cost: $15 Cash at the Door, includes breakfast and lunch plus stingers, "Bob's Nectar of the God's"
The winning club in each game gets 5 points, each end won is worth an additional 2 points, and each point scored during the game is an additional 1 point. Important bonus points are given to teams with new curlers - first year curlers provide 4 bonus points, second year curlers provide their team 2 bonus points! So new curlers are encouraged to participate!
