Dear KMCC Members:
The club is reopening for league play! Beer and soda are also open, effective immediately. The first league games will begin next Wednesday, January 13 (Men’s 3x3 league of Biersach players). All league chairs should contact their respective leagues’ skips immediately to determine the number of returning players, and get that information to Herb Rasmussen as soon as possible. League chairs are listed at the end of this communication.
Our policies for reopening are as follows:
-Face coverings will be required on and off the ice (we will reevaluate this policy at the February board meeting).
-Social distancing will be required throughout the club house.
-Beer and soda can be consumed in the club house so long as social distancing is maintained.
-The lockers will continue to remain open.
-The kitchen will remain closed.
-We are scheduling games to have no more than 24 people on the ice at a time.
We truly thank our members for their patience this year as we continue to navigate these unchartered waters. Needless to say, it has been a challenge to strike the right balance between ensuring the safety of our members (which is our most important objective) and providing for the club experience that we all desire. We believe our approach for the second session will do just that.
Following are the league chairpersons who should contact their leagues’ skips to get the returning curler head-count to Herb:
Monday Mens Jim Lucchesi
Tuesday Womens Jane Lee
Wednesday 3 on 3 Herb Rasmussen
Thursday am Womens Rondi Feil
Thursday TATT Rick Baldry
Thursday PM open
Friday-mixed Craig Heinze
Saturday Phyllis Kirchner
Sunday Doubles Neil Feil
Sunday 5 and under Raine
If there are any questions, please contact me or any other board member. Looking forward to seeing you at the club this second session.
John Salza
